Problem: Yamuna Manjhi lives in the village named Serva Masjidva situated in Gaunaha block of West Champaran district. He is a very poor man who lives in a thatched house with his wife Urmila Devi. His wife is the breadwinner of the house as Yamuna Manjhi is a “Divayang”. Every day, his wife has to struggle to make the ends meet.

Solution: One day, Soochnapreneur Brij Kishore was informing the villagers regarding the government welfare schemes through MeraApp. Urmila Devi after hearing this met Brij Kishore and narrated her problem. She asked the Soochnapreneur to help them in getting disability pension. Brij Kishore, in no time with the help of his contacts, made his disability certificate stating the percentage of the disability i.e. 85% and then applied for the disability pension.

Turning point (if any): Yamuna Manjhi started receiving the disability pension of Rs. 400 from the month of June. He and his wife are very happy that because of Soochnapreneur Brij Kishore their struggle for money will lessen.
